Prospects: Higher education institution, Department of Higher Education, National Registration Department Malaysia, language test centers
Malay Language or Bahasa Malaysia is the official language of Malaysia. It is also the national language of Brunei and Indonesia; and it is one of four official languages of Singapore. Across those countries, it is spoken by more than 270 million people. Since it is a national language of Malaysia, the market for Malay language proficiency test seems to be very niche. Currently, there is no other competitor available in the market but it is expected to be mainly used by higher educational institutions even though the usage of this test in other related sectors is promising. As of now, there are 11 institutions offering Malay Language course in different levels with different orientations such as University Putra Malaysia, University Malaysia and University Kebangsaan Malaysia.
•Able to test Malay language proficiency among native and non-native speakers.
•Suitable to be used among students and civil servants.
